The Appraisers Association of America is a professional association for personal property appraisers who specialize in fine and decorative arts. Established in 1949, it brings together more than 700 independent appraisers across 100 areas of specialization, with members including former museum curators and heads of auction-house departments. The group emphasizes education and rigorous professional practice as a means of promoting high standards within the art appraisal field.

It is based in New York City and brings together professionals across many areas of specialization within personal property valuation. Its mission is to develop and promote standards of excellence in appraisal through education and high professional standards, thereby enhancing the visibility and standing of appraisers in private and professional communities. In 2023, Edward Yee was appointed President of the Board of Directors.
