In today's aging work environment employers are concerned about the health and wellness of their staff. The leading cause of at work death and medical emergencies are heart attack and stroke. Employers are taking a proactive approach by having first aid kits, AED's, and staff trained in CPR and First Aid. We also overlap our Route Sales Division to not only restock and maintain first aid supplies but, also bathroom products such as center pull towels, toilet paper, and air fresheners. OSHA Regulation CFR 1910.15 (b) states: "In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available." OSHA refers to the ANSI standard Z308.1-2009 as an example of minimal contents for first aid supplies.
