Annunciation Radio is Catholic Radio for Northwest and North Central Ohio; WNOC 89.7 FM Toledo, and WHRQ 88.1 FM Sandusky. We are affiliated with the EWTN Global Catholic Radio Network. We also produce several programs of our own such as the Bishop's Corner with Toledo's Bishop Leonard Blair, Life in the Local Church which highlights a person's faith journey and their work for the Kingdom of God, Faith Alive which is a social issues program, Understanding Scripture with Father Dave, a weekly analysis of the Sunday Scripture Readings with Father Dave Nuss and Annunciation Radio Presents, a weekly light-hearted conversation program with special guests. Annunciation Radio is a non-profit 501(3)c company with 3 employees and a Board of Directors, and broadcasts 24 hours a day/seven days a week. The Mission of Annunciation Radio is a Catholic media apostolate. In response to God’s call, our mission is to proclaim the truth in love. Our goals are to evangelize, educate, and encourage God’s people through the use of broadcast and other media. Why Catholic Radio... Following the call of The New Evangelization, the goal of Annunciation Radio is to bear witness and proclaim the truths of the Catholic Faith to the people in a fresh, positive way. Our media will help enable listeners to experience a personal and profound meeting with the Savior in presenting the teachings of Christ and His Church. OUR GOALS: 1. To equip faith-filled Catholics with the tools they need to live and share their Faith and to draw our youth into wholeheartedly embracing the Faith 2. To draw inactive Catholics back to the Church To bring others into the Catholic faith 3. To connect the Catholics of Northwest Ohio with each other and with the Bishop of the Toledo Diocese
