American Virtual Academy (formerly The Bridge School) launched in Houston, TX, as an accredited online private school for grades 6–12.

In 2021, we joined Verano Learning Partners, bringing innovation, technology, and expanded course options to full-time and part-time learners nationwide. In May 2025, we rebranded as American Virtual Academy, aligning our mission with traditional American values and the growing school choice movement.
