American Producers Supply Co is a mid-sized wholesale distributor with roots dating back to 1898, originating from the Ohio Valley’s oil production and hardware trade. The business combined operations from American Supply and Producers Industrial Supply, adopting the American Producers Supply name in 1974 and relocating to Marietta, Ohio in 1976. Since then, it has extended its regional footprint by adding twelve branches across six states: Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan.

Its customer base spans a wide range of industries, including drilling and pipeline activities in the oil and gas sector, as well as metallurgical, power generation, chemical, rail and river transportation, general manufacturing, and construction sectors, along with government entities. In this regional wholesale role, the company serves the expanding oilfield and industrial markets in the Ohio Valley, with activity linked to hydraulic fracturing in the Utica and Marcellus formations. The company is headquartered in Marietta, Ohio, and relies on a network of branches to serve its mid-sized market.
