The American Association of Political Consultants is a non-profit, multi-partisan professional association for political and public affairs professionals, founded in 1969. Based in McLean, Virginia, it serves a global membership of political consultants, media consultants, pollsters, campaign managers, corporate public affairs officers, professors, fund-raisers, lobbyists, congressional staffers and vendors. With more than 1,350 members, it is the largest association of political and public affairs professionals worldwide, and membership is open to anyone connected to politics from the local level to the White House. The organization operates within the non-profit, professional association space that supports professionals across political campaigning and public affairs. In March 2026, it hosted the Pollie Awards ceremony and announced the year's winners at the Pollie Conference held in Amelia Island, Florida.
