Albertus Magnus College is a mid-sized private higher education institution in New Haven, Connecticut, founded in 1925 by the Dominican Sisters of Peace and rooted in the Catholic Dominican tradition. It serves traditional undergraduate students, adults pursuing accelerated degree programs, and a range of graduate programs. Among its graduate offerings are a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling, the latter the only program of its kind in Connecticut. The college has been recognized as a Top 100 Regional University in the north by the US News & World Report Best Colleges guide. A notable recent development is the 2026 launch of the Lindy Lee Gold Women in Leadership Program, supported by philanthropy from a local community leader. The institution continues to expand its instructional capabilities and programs while maintaining its New Haven campus focus.
