Alan Hamm Architects (AHA) is a multi-disciplinary architecture firm located in Montgomery County, MD. dedicated to providing exemplary architectural services to a diverse clientele.  We specialize in commercial restaurant and food service projects as well as retail projects with well over 1,400 completed food service projects.  Our well established design team holds a vast knowledge in commercial and institutional design.  We pride ourselves on providing our clients with personalized service, technical proficiency and construction knowledge, which is evidenced by our long-standing relationships with both National and Regional clients.  

In our portfolio of food service clients, we have experience with corporate sit-down restaurants, quick serve formats and institutional projects.  We are proud that our clientele includes many well-known brands and up and coming restaurant chains.  We have assisted our clients from conceptualization through completion in creating their first food service venture.  No matter the size of the space, nor the vision of the client, AHA has years of experience in facilitating the client’s aspirations and goals.

In our portfolio of retail clients, we have designed tenant spaces from warehouses, white boxes, kiosks to retail stores.  We take great satisfaction in aiding the developer, landlord, leasing agent or client with complete services that are necessary to meet tenant needs.

Besides the retail and food service industries, AHA focuses on accessibility and ADA enhancements that are required in today’s environment.  Each architect at AHA devotes time for specialized training seminars and on-line classroom education. 
 
AHA typically designs about 75 commercial projects per year.  Through effective management, AHA successfully manages and performs the required services for all projects.  With its primary consultants, AHA has completed more than 2,500 projects thereby reinforcing our commitment in producing superior products.
