Based in Redfern, New South Wales, Australia, AIME Mentoring is a mid-sized nonprofit that supports marginalised youth through its Imagination Factory program. Since 2005, it has run short-term, campus-based experiences on university campuses around the world, with the aim of helping participants reframe their self-perception from restriction to possibility. The program combines mentoring with creative exploration and seeks to build partnerships between people with influence and those without to foster a more equitable society. Its focus includes enabling educational parity, cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, and equipping participants with tools for long-term success. Operating within the nonprofit sector, AIME positions itself at the crossroads of education, mentorship, and social equity, using campus events to reach its target youth. A notable development is a 2020 partnership with Pedestrian Group to launch IMAGI-NATION TV, a web series distributed on YouTube that provides online mentoring through 25-minute episodes.
