Aim High is a primary and secondary education organization based in San Francisco, California. It began in 1986 at a single site with 50 students and has since expanded to serve communities across the Bay Area, extending to Napa and Tahoe-Truckee. The organization runs a summer enrichment program for middle school students from low-income neighborhoods, designed to strengthen academic skills, build confidence, and sustain a passion for learning. Alumni outcomes reported by the organization show that 98% of respondents graduate high school and go on to college. The program targets families seeking supplementary opportunities outside the traditional school day to address gaps in access to quality education and to support students during adolescence. In 2022, Aim High launched the Aspiring Teacher Program to increase the number of young people of color pursuing education careers, contributing to diversification of the teaching and leadership pipeline.
