AI Singapore is a national program in Singapore that seeks to strengthen the country’s artificial intelligence capabilities to support a future digital economy. It connects Singapore-based research institutions with AI startups and companies to foster collaborative work that builds knowledge, tools, and talent for advancing AI initiatives. The program operates through a government-wide partnership involving the National Research Foundation, Smart Nation and Digital Government Office, Infocomm Media Development Authority, Economic Development Board, and Enterprise Singapore, among others. 

Based in the Central Region, AI Singapore functions as a mid-sized organization within the software development landscape. It serves as a platform for public-private collaboration aimed at accelerating AI adoption and capability building across industries, including partnerships with external partners to pilot AI-driven solutions. For example, it has collaborated with Dell Technologies to test, validate, and optimize SEA-LION models across Dell AI PCs and edge infrastructure.
