AI Insurance Group was founded in 1953 and was originally known as Athens Insurers. Our founding philosophy has remained the same for over 50 years–Dedication to service, solutions and specialization. We are one of the largest independently owned insurance brokerage firms in North Georgia outside of metro Atlanta. For five decades, our agency has been an established leader in the insurance profession providing prompt, courteous and professional services to our clients. Although located in Athens, Georgia, the majority of our clients are in the Atlanta area and throughout the Southeast. Many of our clients have national and global interests and operations which has enabled us to develop insurance and service plans that follow our clients around the world. Principals of AI Insurance Group are Lewis L. Scruggs, Jr., CPCU, Mark Dyleski, Natalie Jackson and Jo-Lynn Harrison. AI Insurance Group provides comprehensive Property and Casualty Insurance Programs and Risk Management solutions for a variety of commercial endeavors. Historically, AI has served large manufacturing and technology companies, the service industry, the retail and wholesale sector, as well as expertise in the professional liability arena, especially architects and design professionals.
