AWE is a higher education organization based in Oxford, Ohio, focused on helping members pursue entrepreneurship and develop leadership through mentorship and constructive dialogue about female-founded ventures. The group supports aspiring female founders by offering a community that fosters discussion and leadership development anchored in campus activities. Members meet weekly, with gatherings on Wednesdays at 6 pm to discuss initiatives and participate in campus events, including study-away programs to Cincinnati and San Francisco to connect with female entrepreneurs.

The organization operates through three committees—Marketing, Advocacy, and Editing—each handling distinct responsibilities such as outreach, networking, and content creation. The audience includes students and others involved in entrepreneurship within the university setting, and the structure provides avenues for participation and leadership within higher education.
