Adkins Arboretum is a 400-acre native garden and preserve located in Ridgely, Maryland. It aims to conserve and restore the native landscapes of the Chesapeake Bay region and is described as a model for land management and ecological restoration. Through its grounds and programs, the arboretum fosters community involvement in land stewardship to support healthier and more diverse landscapes. Operating in the museums, historical sites, and zoos sector, it serves as a regional resource for conservation of native landscapes and landscape stewardship. In December 2025, the organization announced leadership changes, including the appointment of a Visitor Services Manager.
