The Association for Consumer Debt Relief (ACDR) operates as a national trade association for debt relief companies. Based in the District of Columbia, it focuses on educating both consumers and policymakers about debt relief and its benefits while setting and enforcing standards for member organizations. As a mid-sized national body, ACDR coordinates industry activities and supports access to accredited debt relief services across the United States. In May 2026, more than 270 debt relief industry leaders gathered in Las Vegas for ACDR's Spring Summit. Earlier that year, the organization expanded its advocacy capacity with the appointment of Erick Matos as Government Relations Manager for the Western United States.
